Research into title sequence

A title sequence is the method used by films and television shows to introduce their product. The title sequence typically includes key production and cast members and sets the tone and atmosphere for a film or tv show utilising intertwined conceptual visuals and sound. A pertinent example of a title sequence that expertly sets the tone and atmosphere of a film is James bond (still of title sequence). The music combined with the visuals connotes female sexuality, danger, excitement and intrigue.

Title sequences over the years have somewhat gone unnoticed and silently integrated themselves into our culture. However, they have had and continue to have a substantial impact upon culture with many directors, artists, musicians and so on taking inspiration from them.
