Joint storyline and scene ideas

Ross works in a job that he hates, with people he hates. One morning, his girlfriend (the one thing in his life that he actually likes) informs him over text that she has been sleeping with his boss. He concludes that he will commit suicide. After several failed attempts, he prepares to jump off a building when a man sees him and then runs to the roof to prevent the jump. He intoduces himself as Dr Walter Parkes - a local psychiatrist, who offers him his help, to which Ross accepts. Dr Parkes, after learning of his situation, decides to scrap therapy and help Ross gain revenge over his boss, as his wife left for a more successful psychiatrist. Ross goes into his bosses office and deliberately provokes him until he is punched, which is witnessed by a co-worker, and his boss is fired. After the credits, Ross is shown to have replaced his boss, adopting his mannerisms and wearing the same clothes.

- (when discussing revenge in Parkes' office - 'let me get my black folder, camera cuts to a blue folder, 'no my black folder')
-(homage to Monty Python Sir Lancelot scene) Parkes' running up the stairs 
- 'At least that psychiatrist knows when a woman is dissatisfied' When Walter explains why he lost his wife
- says his clients were people with embarrassing confessions (cuts to Walter talking to a client with a very nervous disposition in his office) about their body whereas her new lover was making breakthroughs in psycotherapy and helped apprehend a serial killer that had made national news.
- When Ross attempts to commit suicide (splitscreen editing used):
4 attempts:
A) Goes into his room with a rope attempts to commit suicide but it snaps as it was too thin to take his body weight. He walks out of the bedroom looking annoyed.
B) Goes to the train tracks to jump in front a train (A woman over the tannoy announces all trains on this line have been cancelled because someone has already done that today).
C) Takes an overdose of pills with wine but just wakes up the next morning with a hangover.
D) Tries to connect a hosepipe upto the exhaust of his car, the car won't start.
